Campsite Polices
Welcome to Dove Cote Lodge Camping in North Yorkshire. We provide a peaceful, respectful space where guests can relax and enjoy the countryside. Please take a moment to read through our Terms & Conditions, which outline our booking policies, site rules and safety guidelines to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay for everyone.
Booking & Payment

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Balance due 4 weeks before arrival.

Payment methods: Bank transfer or PayPal.

Note: Deposits are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise
Arrival & Departure
Check-in: Between 3.00pm and 7.00pm.

Check-out: By 11.00am

Please leave no footprint when departing

Please notify us if running late — it helps us keep things smooth and welcoming!
Pitching & Equipment

Max 5 tents or campervans per booking (pup tents within pitch allowed)

Gazebos permitted at no extra charge
-
Pitches must be set in marked areas and 3 meters from boundaries
-
Mains electrical hook-up must be safe and compliant
-
Generators are not allowed at any time
Site Rules
-
Noise must be kept to an absolute minimum between 10pm and 8am.

No amplified music or disruptive behaviour.
-
Fires are only permitted in raised fire pits with proper ash disposal.
-
Strictly no disposable BBQs — they pose a burn risk to the field.

We ask all guests to treat each other respectfully. Inappropriate or aggressive behaviour may result in being asked to leave.
Guest Requirements

At least one guest must be aged 21+
-
Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

Names and ages of campers and day visitors must be provided prior to arrival

Max 30 people on site at any one time
-
Children should be under adult supervision at all times
Dogs & Pets are welcome!

Must be kept on a lead at all times.

Please clean up thoroughly—place faeces in the large black wheelie bin only
-
Excessive barking or disruptive behaviour may result in early departure.

Pets must be supervised to avoid disturbance to other campers
Noise & Courtesy
-
No amplified music or sound systems
-
Bluetooth speakers allowed if non-intrusive
-
No excessive noise after 10:00PM
-
Quiet time is strongly encouraged
-
Use facilities respectfully and show courtesy to neighbours

CCTV is in operation by neighbouring properties
-
Climbing our fences to retrieve items is strictly prohibited
-
Please have courtesy for us and our neighbours when using the facilities area

The toilet block may have occasional use from guests of our household
Safety & Conduct

Fire pits and BBQs must be attended at all times and kept away from tents, gas or flammables
-
Avoid use during windy conditions
-
Fire points are marked— misuse of fire apparatus will be charged to your group
-
Children must be supervised — especially near fire pits and shared areas.

Please report any issues promptly so we can resolve them quickly.

Cigarettes must be disposed of safely and never dropped on the ground
-
Speed limit: 5 MPH throughout the site

After 10PM, please park in the front carpark indicated on the site map
Environment & Wildlife

Please recycle using bins provided
-
Glass and metal must be disposed of properly—especially with children/pets on site
-
Wildlife wood piles must not be disturbed
-
Help reduce carbon footprint with thoughtful behaviour
Liability

Dove Cote Lodge Camping accepts no responsibility for personal injury, loss, stolen, or fire/damage to property.

Campers participate at their own risk and should ensure they have appropriate travel insurance if required.
Prohibited Items & Behaviour
Do not use the following on site:

Generators or amplified sound systems
-
Model aircraft, drones, sky lanterns, Fireworks
-
Catapults, air guns, firearms, bows and arrows
Unacceptable behaviour includes:

Threatening, abusive or foul language
-
We reserve the right to evict guests at any time for disruptive conduct

No antisocial substances or illegal activities.
-
Persons subject to the Sexual Offenders Act 2003 may not use the site
Cancellation Policy
-
A 25% non-refundable deposit and completed booking form is required to secure your booking
-
Balance due 6 weeks before arrival
-
If payment is not received by 1 month prior, we reserve the right to re-advertise the pitch(s)

Cancellations after this time are non-refundable
-
No charge for amending names on your booking, but correct details must be provided before arrival for fire safety compliance
