Welcome to Dove Cote Lodge Camping — a peaceful, five‑pitch campsite in the quiet village of Cliffe‑cum‑Lund near Selby, North Yorkshire. Our small site is designed for simplicity, space, and privacy, whether you’re joining us for a quiet weekend escape or booking the whole site for an exclusive stay.
We offer five spacious grass pitches for tents, campervans, tent boxes or trailer tents — no caravans or motorhomes, which helps keep the site quiet and low-impact. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. You'll find freshwater taps, a washing‑up area, a clean toilet block and private shower, all kept tidy throughout the day.
Exclusive hire is available for groups who want the site to themselves. Enjoy peaceful countryside views, mature trees and a gentle rural atmosphere. Evenings often end around the large communal fire pit and BBQ area — perfect for relaxed evenings outdoors.
We keep the site quiet, clean, and intentionally low‑key — offering everything you need for a restful stay without the noise or distractions of larger parks. Expect birdsong in the morning, stars at night, and the kind of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere.
SET BETWEEN SELBY AND YORK
A great base for exploring Selby, York, Leeds and the North Yorkshire countryside — with the Trans Pennine Trail close by for walking and cycling, there are lots of local day trips nearby.

Electric hook-ups (EHU) are available for all pitches if required.
Electric is available at an additional cost per pitch, per night.
FIRE PIT
Evenings at Dove Cote Lodge often end around the large communal fire pit, where guests can sit together, toast marshmallows and enjoy the quiet countryside. We also have a communal BBQ available for everyone to use, and we keep everything you need for the fire pit, BBQ and marshmallows available to buy on site.
DOG & PET FRIENDLY
Our campsite welcomes well-behaved pets. They must remain under control and be supervised at all times. Additionally, there is no charge for your pets' stay.
FACILITIES AT DOVE COTE LODGE CAMPING
We have all the facilities you need to stay comfortable during your stay. Our heated men’s and ladies’ toilet block includes clean showers, and there’s a covered washing‑up area with a fridge, freezer and useful campsite information.
