Welcome to Dove Cote Lodge Camping — a peaceful, five‑pitch campsite in the quiet village of Cliffe‑cum‑Lund near Selby, North Yorkshire. Our small site is designed for simplicity, space, and privacy, whether you’re joining us for a quiet weekend escape or booking the whole site for an exclusive stay.
We offer five spacious grass pitches for tents, standard-sized campervans, Tent-Boxes or trailer tents. We don't accept caravans or motorhomes, which helps keep the site quiet and low-impact and suited to smaller units.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. You'll find freshwater taps, a covered washing‑up area, a clean toilet block and private shower, all kept tidy throughout the day.
Exclusive hire is available for groups who want the site to themselves. Enjoy peaceful countryside views, mature trees and a gentle rural atmosphere. Evenings often end around the large communal fire pit and BBQ area — perfect for relaxed evenings outdoors.
We keep the site quiet, clean, and intentionally low‑key — offering everything you need for a restful stay without the noise or distractions of larger parks. Expect birdsong in the morning, stars at night, and the kind of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere.
Set Between Selby and York
A great base for exploring Selby, York, Leeds and the North Yorkshire countryside. With the Trans Pennine Trail close by for walking and cycling, there are plenty of local day trips and places of interest to enjoy.
Electric Hook-Ups
Electric hook-ups (EHU) are available for all pitches if required.
Electric is available at an additional cost per pitch, per night.
Fire Pit
Evenings at Dove Cote Lodge Camping often end around the large communal fire pit, where guests can sit together and enjoy the quiet countryside. You are welcome to use our communal fire pit, which is safely positioned and monitored.
A communal BBQ is also available, and we keep everything you need for the fire pit and BBQ on site.
Dog & Pet Friendly
Our campsite welcomes well-behaved pets. They must be kept under control and supervised at all times and kept on lead near the access road for the safety of cars, your pets and ours.
There is no charge for your pets' stay.

We have all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Heated men’s and ladies’ toilet block, clean showers, a covered washing‑up area with under-counter fridge and freezer. Fresh drinking water and useful campsite information.
