Campervans must be standard‑sized vans (e.g., VW Transporter, Ford Transit Custom). Larger camper conversions and motorhomes aren’t permitted to keep the site quiet, low‑impact.
We’re a quiet campsite — no amplified music, no disruptive noise, and no behaviour that disturbs other guests or the surrounding community. Quiet‑site rules still apply during exclusive hire.

Shared Fridge/freezer — please label items.
Clean heated toilets, hot showers, washing‑up area are available on site.
Three steps into the toilet/shower block — not wheelchair accessible.
Book online or message us if you have a question.
No vehicle movement on site after 9pm unless agreed in advance.
Personal fire pits, ground fires and disposable BBQs aren’t permitted — please use the communal fire pit.

We offer spacious grass pitches for tents, Tent-Boxes, and standard-sized campervans — caravans and motorhomes aren't permitted, helping keep the site quiet and low‑impact.
Guests enjoy clean, heated facilities, optional electric hook‑ups, and thoughtful touches like a communal fire pit and BBQ. Whether you’re booking a single pitch or hiring the whole site, our calm, nature‑friendly setting suits families, solo campers, and small groups looking for a relaxed break.
We’re just 10 minutes from Selby and 30 minutes from York, with walking and cycling routes close by — including the Trans Pennine Trail. You’ll also find lovely places of interest nearby, Skipwith Common, Howden, Cawood and other local spots are all within easy reach.

Exclusive Hire of the Campsite
Hire the entire campsite for your group, event or gathering. With five spacious grass pitches and room for up to 25 people overnight, (maximum of 30 people on site at any one time), Dove Cote Lodge Camping is ideal for family get‑togethers, meet-ups and relaxed weekends away.
This limit includes adults, children and infants.
Quiet‑site rules still apply during exclusive hire. This means no amplified music, no disruptive noise, and no behaviour that disturbs the surrounding community. Exclusive hire gives you privacy — not permission to be loud.
Well-behaved Dogs are welcome at no extra cost.
Day visitors are welcome during exclusive hire stays, but they must be approved in advance and must leave the site by 8pm to keep the site peaceful and secure for overnight guests.
